The Art of Fundraising is a foundation that raises money for young artists who are in need of financial assistance who otherwise cannot afford to buy a musical instrument or may even need the basic essentials of human existence like food, shelter or clothing so they can attend school and receive a musical experience. A musical performance is the vehicle that funds the foundation and also gives an opportunity for young musicians to perform. We have partnered with Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation and requested that they give the funds to young artists who have suffered from the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina as well as other life events that affect the lives of many people in America and other countries around the world. We have raised over $10,000 for Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation.
We are fortunate to have many musicians, artists, web designers, and dedicated staff members who are willing to dedicate their time and talent to The Art Of Fundraising. The ultimate example of experiencing and appreciating the moments of our lives is the realization that we must help each other in times of need.
I believe that by example we teach our youth the right thing to do. Of all the events that I have produced over the years this event has been the most significant for me.
